CAHSD's Regional Board consists of all appointed Regional Directors. Regional Directors are responsible for leading engagement in their region, assisting chapter leaders, and spearheading regional initiatives.

BAY AREA REGIONAL DIRECTOR
Aamina Ahmed is a lifelong Bay Area native who has spent her entire life watching partisan politics shape the community she calls home. As Varsity Congress Captain for Dougherty Valley High School’s Speech and Debate team , ranked among the top ten in the nation, she was the only freshman in the country to qualify to both California States and the Tournament of Champions. She’s also a two-time class officer and serves as Muslim Chair for High School Democrats of America, bringing student voices and diverse perspectives into civic conversations. In 8th grade, she co-founded a civic education nonprofit that’s reached over 1,000 students in underserved and rural communities, and now, as a regional leader with CAHSD, she’s thrilled to help other young people see how deeply understanding politics touches their own backyard. She wants to make sure lack of educational access is never a reason people do not vote!

Errol sits on the Pasadena Unified School district Board of Education looking to advocate for students to get the quality they deserve education. As the chair of the Pasadena legislative committee Errol also works with local officials to pass legislation to make Pasadena a better city for everyone. In school Errol competes with mock trial, puts on shows with drama and choir, and strives for inclusion with the PUSD all district Sexuality and Gender Inclusion Club. As a student journalist Errol helped cover and document the disastrous effects of the Eaton Fire and will continue to work with local officials to help his community regrow. Errol is excited to work with CAHSD to bring California to a more progressive and inclusive future.

Caroline O'Leary (carolinequinnoleary@gmail.com) is a junior at the Academy of Our Lady of Peace in San Diego and the Regional Director for the South State Region. She is passionate about youth political involvement and specific issues such as women's and immigration rights. Outside of CAHSD, Caroline is involved in political activism at TurnUp, congressional campaigns, and activities like Model UN and Mock Trial. Outside of politics, Caroline enjoys trying new coffee places, going to the beach, and reading. She is excited to expand the South State's involvement in the coming 26-27 term!

Outside of CAHSD, Caroline is involved in political activism at TurnUp, congressional campaigns, and activities like Model UN and Mock Trial. Outside of politics, Caroline enjoys trying new coffee places, going to the beach, and reading. She is excited to expand the South State's involvement in the coming 26-27 term!

Caroline O'Leary (carolinequinnoleary@gmail.com) is a junior at the Academy of Our Lady of Peace in San Diego and the Regional Director for the South State Region. She is passionate about youth political involvement and specific issues such as women's and immigration rights.
